OVERVIEW:

The Project:

GT-Medical, one of the leading companies for the sale and design of Dental Implants and Prosthetic Pieces - in turn compatible with the main commercial implants and prostheses companies on the market - needed to design a product search engine.

The project began with a Research that lasted 2 months and from the observation of both profiles during their work processes, we understood that the complexity of the product and the type of work that each professional was to carry out affected the selection of the product.

This insight gave rise to the first approximation we made of the product we call: Product Matrix. From the first prototypes, we realized that we needed to find a solution to reduce both profiles (prosthetists and dentists) pain points while they were looking for the required product.

UX RESEARCH:

The Research Process:

We started the Research Plan, not only by focussing on the different user profiles but also on the members of the customer service team that given their direct contact with the end user and their knowledge of the product, were undoubtedly one of the greatest sources of inspiration for product design. We conducted different user interviews and observations of the customer service team and users process, to understand what their pain points were when requesting a product.

Everything we discovered in the Research was undoubtedly one of the greatest contributions to the subsequent design. This phase lasted approximately 2 months, both its planning and execution as well as the extraction of outputs for the product design.

PROTOTYPING:

The solution process:
